Cornell Tech

A new graduate school for entrepreneurial technologists, Cornell Tech offers a distinctive model of graduate tech education in the heart of New York City that fuses educational excellence with real-world applications and commercializes technology rooted in the latest academic research. Students at Cornell Tech learn and work together with faculty, practitioners, and mentors to launch ideas and create daring ventures that have global impact.

Cornell Tech attracts the best and brightest in technology, immerses them in an entrepreneurial culture with deep ties to the local business community, and spurs the creation of new companies and new industries in New York City. Core interdisciplinary academic and research activities will generate and attract substantial commercial and entrepreneurial activity, sponsored research, collaborative research with companies, student internships, and company projects.

Cornell Tech is also home to the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Innovation Institute. The Jacobs Institute embodies the academic partnership between the Technion and Cornell. It departs from traditional academic departments and is organized in three interdisciplinary hubs selected for their relevance to the New York City economy: Connective Media, Healthier Life, and Built Environment.
