Cornell’s Adult University: Education Vacations

Cornell’s Adult University (CAU) offers weeklong noncredit courses on campus in the summer for adults and families. During the fall, winter, and spring, CAU offers weekend seminars and longer domestic programs as well as international study tours. Developed and led by distinguished members of the Cornell faculty, all programs are inspired by the conviction that one of the roles of a great university is to provide a bridge between traditional formal education and informal, noncredit study. For information, visit cau.cornell.edu, e-mail cauinfo@cornell.edu, call (607) 255-6260, or write to Cornell’s Adult University, B20 Day Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853.

English for Non-native Speakers

English for International Students and Scholars (EISS), offered during Summer Session as well as during the spring and fall semesters, is a course for visiting scholars and others seeking improvement in basic English-language skills, with special emphasis on proficiency in spoken English. For more information, visit sce.cornell.edu/eiss, e-mail cusp@cornell.edu, or call (607) 255-7259.

Executive and Professional Programs

Once you’re out in the work world, you may be interested in the short, high-level executive education programs that the School presents on campus, online, and in locations worldwide. These courses are taught by Cornell faculty and distinguished leaders in many fields and provide opportunities to hone skills, increase effectiveness, stay abreast of changes in the work world, and network with colleagues. Programs also can be designed to respond to the specific needs and interests of corporations, professional societies, and other groups. For information, visit sce.cornell.edu/professional, e-mail cusp@cornell.edu, call (607) 255-7259, or write to Professional Studies, B20 Day Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853.
