MAE 6770 - [Robust Control]

Spring. Next offered 2017-2018 (offered alternate years). 4 credits. Letter grades only.

Prerequisites: ECE 5210 , or equivalent or permission of instructor.

Staff.

An introduction to the analysis and synthesis of controllers for uncertain systems. The course focuses on constructively translating analytical conditions for analysis and synthesis into numerical algorithms enabling rapid evaluation and optimization. Typical topics include: H-2 and H-infinity control, hybrid (switched and linear parameter varying) systems, Markov jump linear systems, control over lossy data networks, model predictive control, distributed control, and convex optimization.
