Introduction to physical hydrology with an emphasis on roles and interactions between hydrological processes and ecological, biogeochemical, and human systems.

Outcome 1: Students will apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to define and solve problems in physical hydrology for ecosystems.

Outcome 2: Within the scope of the course, students will improve their capacity to predict and optimize the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.

Outcome 3: Students will gain proficiency in use of the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
