ILRLR 3052 - Community Controlled Economic Development: The Case of Buffalo NY(CU-CEL) Spring. 2 credits. Letter grades only (no audit). Permission of instructor required. Enrollment limited to: students accepted as a Summer Fellow in the High Road Fellowship program. R. Applegate. The purpose of this course is to provide students with the appropriate academic framework to excel in a supervised fieldwork experience working for a social sector organization in Buffalo, NY, through the High Road Fellowships. The multi-disciplinary, place-based background will inform their work projects, enhance their engaged learning as a class and as individuals over the summer, and prepare them for integrating the course work with their field work into a final report of their High Road experience. |
