Introduction to the merchandising of replacement beef heifers. Topics include budgeting, advertising, animal preparation, cataloging, clerking, and reporting. Students gain practical knowledge through lecture as well as hands-on experience by planning, organizing, and conducting a sale of bred beef heifers from the Empire Heifer Development Program.
