CHEME 5440 - Systems Biology in Biotechnology and Medicine

Principles and application of experimental and computational systems biology tools to problems in human health, biopharmaceutical production, and bioenergy systems. Primary emphasis is understanding the structure and properties of signal transduction and metabolic networks in these applications. Also presents basic tools and strategies used in the emerging field of synthetic biology.
