STSCI 5010 - Applied Statistical Analysis 1

Fall. 4 credits. Letter grades only.

Enrollment is limited to: students in M.P.S. Program. Two-semester core course for students in master of professional studies (M.P.S.) degree program in applied statistics in Department of Statistical Science.

Staff.

Consists of a series of modules on various topics in applied statistics. Some modules include guest lectures from practitioners. Parallel with the course, students complete a yearlong, in-depth data analysis project. Topics include but are not limited to statistical computing systems, statistical software packages, data management, statistical graphics, and simulation methods and algorithms.
