AEM 2600 - Managerial Economics

Fall. 3 credits. Letter grades only.

Prerequisite: ECON 1110 , MATH 1106  or MATH 1110 . Full academic-year course requiring fall and spring enrollment. Fall semester students receive an “R” grade and then receive their grade for the course in the spring semester, AEM 2601 .

This yearlong course covers microeconomic principles that inform the decisions of managers of firms and organizations. The course uses short cases and class discussion will touch on how the principles apply to the Dyson School research areas of management, agribusiness, environmental sustainability, and emerging markets.
