Graduate-level introduction to empirical research on various microeconomic models. Emphasizes the use of the theory in empirical research. Topics include choice, uncertainly and information, market signaling, network externalities, prices, perfect and imperfect competition, pricing and advertising and other microeconomic concepts in an applied setting.

Outcome 1: Understand microeconomic theory foundations, and apply theory in empirical estimation.
