Recognized by the USGBC Excellence in Green Building Curriculum Incentive, this course is designed to respond to the significant nontechnological barriers to the transformation of the building sector toward sustainable. Students will be introduced to a series of forces and key players in the building delivery process and building life cycle that have different magnitudes of impact on the adoption of sustainable practice for climate change mitigation and on building resilience into the built environment for adaption.  This course is intended for graduate students and senior undergraduate students from a wide range of majors related to the planning, design, construction, and management of buildings. Students in this course will also explore new means of communicating for engaging stakeholders to deliver change.
