One critical factor in securing a job in the design industry is the presentation of work in the form of a strong visual design portfolio. This elective, seven-week course will expose Design and Environmental Analysis students to a formalized approach to portfolio development.  Students will be introduced to types of portfolio, preparation steps, and methods for documenting process. Students will see a variety of examples of portfolios ranging from consulting portfolios to interior design portfolio, to research project based work.  Students will hear insight from design professionals about what they look for in design portfolios and communication.
