NES 2220 - Accelerated Arabic Course

Prerequisite: NES 1202 or one year of Arabic.

This course is designed for students who are interested in completing Cornell’s intermediate Arabic sequence (NES 1203 and NES 2200) in one semester. The class meets for two hours a day, five times a week. Students finishing this course will be in a position to take advanced Arabic classes in Arabic-speaking countries as part of their study-abroad semester in the spring. Arrangements will be made with a number of study-abroad programs in Arab countries to accommodate AAC graduates so they can take classes appropriate to their level.
