For graduate students who want to gain an understanding of research. Course begins with fundamentals of research design and covers internal and external validity, measurement reliability and validity, and a variety of tools and techniques.

Outcome 1: Comprehend terminology and logic of research design.

Outcome 2: Design and conduct research of your own, with an understanding of your study’s strength and limitations.

Outcome 3: Critically analyze others’ research design, methods, and conclusions.
