We will analyze and historically contextualize a variety of cultural media - including literature, film, medical treaties and popular culture - to show how sexual identities are shaped and contested. Some of the authors we will discuss are Sales Mayo Maronon, Garcia Lorca, Martin Gaite, and Almodovar.
