CS 5555 - [Health Tech, Data, and Systems]

This course introduces the technical components of mobile health systems (including sensing, data analysis, user interface design, experimental design, data interoperability, and privacy and security mechanisms) and develops an understanding for the software structures and techniques used to create novel and effective mobile health applications.
This course is appropriate for advanced students who have no or limited knowledge in health or health IT. Assignments and the final project will require implementation and analysis, so students must have programming skills at the level of CS 2110 and basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
