Prerequisite: CS 5650 , INFO 5340 . Enrollment limited to: Cornell Tech students. Offered at Cornell Tech in New York City. Experience with Unity 3D and fluency in C# and C++.

This course explores the field of Mixed Reality through research topics at the intersection of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Human-Computer Interaction. Topics covered may include: 3D interaction techniques, remote collaboration, tracking methods, photometric registration, navigation and more.
Student activities include:
• Project (three-credit students only): Teams of two students. Research-oriented project with focus on a selected topic of interest. Deliverables include project proposal, milestones, final report, and other deliverables such as software/hardware prototypes where applicable.
• Paper reviews: Teams of two students. Discussions and presentations by teams in class.
• Quizzes: Closed-book, in-class quizzes from lectures and readings.
• Participation: In-class activities, attendance etc.
Students enrolled for three credits will participate in all of the above, while students enrolled for one credit will not submit a project.
