Course Offerings  

The Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management offers programs in business and applied economics. Its undergraduate degree is accredited by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Ten areas of concentration are offered: Accounting, Agribusiness Management, Applied Economics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental and Resource Economics, Finance, Food Industry Management, International Trade and Development, Marketing, and Strategy.

Minors:


Through the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, CALS students may complete a minor program of study in one of four different subject areas: Agribusiness Management, Environmental and Resource Economics, Applied Economics, and International Trade and Development. These minors consist of at least 17 credits of required courses (dyson.cornell.edu/undergrad/minor.php).

For students majoring in engineering or a life science, the Dyson School offers the Dyson Business Minor for Engineers (dyson.cornell.edu/undergrad/minor_engineering.php) and the Dyson Business Minor for Life Sciences (dyson.cornell.edu/undergrad/minor_lifesciences.php).

The Dyson School is also part of a consortium called Business@Cornell, which offers the University-wide Business Minor, or UBM (dyson.cornell.edu/undergrad/minor_universitywide.php).  Students enrolled in the UBM can take the required courses in any of the participating schools that make up the consortium: Dyson, Hotel, Industrial Labor and Relations, and Johnson.
