MAE 6560 - Nanoscale Energy Transport and Conversion

Nanoscience and Nanotechnology have enormous potential to address some of the world’s biggest energy problems. Examples where the field can or is already making an impact include: solar energy capture and conversion, lighting, batteries and other energy storage techniques, water desalination, and carbon sequestration. The goal of this course is to explore some of the fundamental nanoscience behind these and other technological advancements and examine where future impact may also occur.
