NBA 5190 - Entrepreneurship in the Emerging Sustainable Economy

This one credit, eight session course is taught by Cascade Engineering CEO Fred Keller who brings his own 38 years as an entrepreneur into perspective for students. Keller, along with other business leaders he brings into the classroom, explores the unfolding “New Reality” of business in the US and what is needed to assure our financial futures while considering the needs of people and the planet. This course is a hands-on experience where dialogue and presentations will sharpen the student’s ability to compete. The student will learn about Cascade Engineering’s robust innovative business model. This course will demonstrate that in addition to traditional financial analysis, business decisions can benefit from taking into account the impacts of social capital and ecological capital as well. These considerations will help you position your company better in a rapidly changing landscape of regulation, customer demand and will assist you as you plan your business for long term growth.
