PE 1111 - Lifeguarding Instructor

Spring. 1 credit.

Prerequisite: A current A.R.C. instructor or F.I.T. certificate and successfully passing a precourse written exam, swimming skills evaluation, rescue skills evaluation, rescue skills senarios, CPR/AED skills evaluation and CPR/AED skill scenarios. Course fee: TBA. Students must not miss any classes.

This course is designed for people interested in teaching the new A.R.C. Lifeguarding Course. It will be taught on 3 weekends and includes information, techniques and practice sessions on how to teach lifeguarding. Candidates should refresh themselves on techniques and knowledge before the class starts.
