PE 1580 - Principles of Weight Training

A comprehensive understanding of weight training and its place in the world of fitness. Topics to be covered include: selectorized equipment, free weight exercises, isometrics, circuit training, toning, stretching, strength development, and program design based on goal setting. Enrollment in this class includes membership privileges in the Cornell Fitness Centers for the semester.
