Hands on graduate computer laboratory, focusing on tools for computation, simulation, and analysis of complex, nonlinear systems arising in a broad range of fields. Course is self-paced, and can accommodate a wide range of experiences, from novice to expert. Topic include complex networks, locomotion, dynamical system, pattern formation, chemical kinetics, random matrix theory, magnetism, computational complexity, and thermodynamics.
