COMM 4580 - The Science of Social Behavior

Fall. 3 credits.

Prerequsite: At least one statistics course and a major in either Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, or Economics. Permission of instructor required. Enrollment limited to: seniors who major in Sociology, Psychology, Human Development and Economics. Capstone seminar for seniors who are interested in graduate study in scientific disciplines that focus on human behavior. Course is designed to mirror the introductory course COMM 2580 .  Open to Communication majors. Students will have the opportunity to also enroll in COMM 4980  for 1 credit to lead discussions of first-year students reading these same books, thought this latter option is neither required or guaranteed.

A University Course - This class highlights cross-disciplinary dialogue and debate.
