PE 1655 - Introduction to Slacklining

Fall, spring. 1 credit. S-U grades only.

Course fee charged.

Staff.

Slacklining is an activity that involves balancing, walking, and doing a wide variety movement on a tensioned line about 1 foot above the ground. In this course, you will learn how to safely set up and use a slackline under the careful instruction of COE’s climbing staff. Classes will take place at various outdoor locations, so participants should come prepared to be outside for the length of the class. Dressing in layers and comfortable shoes will allow participants to shed layers to adjust to the activity level and temperature of the day.
