PHYS 4486 - Teaching Experience II Fall, spring. 1-3 credits, variable.
Prerequisites: Minimum grade of A- in PHYS 1101 or PHYS 2207 or B- in PHYS 1112 or PHYS 1116 . Minimum grade of A- in PHYS 1102 or PHYS 2208 or B- in PHYS 2213 or PHYS 2217 . Permission of instructor required. Credit will appear on transcript, but does not count towards graduation. Students enrolled in courses for undergraduate teaching assistants may petition once to have the nondegree credits count toward good academic standing. This would allow continued eligibility for graduating with distinction in all subjects, but would disqualify the student from being on the dean’s list that semester.
