PE 1309 - Equitation Advanced

Fall, spring, summer. (Six-week session) 1 credit.

Strong jumping/dressage skills with experience hunting/showing/eventing. Course fee: TBA.

All riding classes are held at the OXLEY EQUESTRIAN CENTER located on 220 Pine Tree Road near East Hill Plaza. Detailed information will be offered by the equitation staff. Students may call Tarene Friedman at 272-0152 or email her at csf8@cornell.edu. The instructor will evaluate skills at the first meeting. Ability levels are listed below Basic-never ridden; Intermediate I-completed basic with knowledge of walk/trot/canter; Intermediate II-walk/trot/canter with control over two-foot-high jumping course; Advanced-strong jumping/dressage skills with experience hunting/showing/eventing. Students must fill out a release form to participate in any riding class.
