BIOAP 7570 - [Current Concepts in Reproductive Biology] (crosslisted) ANSC 7570 Fall. Next offered: 2019-2020. 3 credits. Student option grading.
Prerequisite: undergraduate degree in biology and strong interest in reproductive biology. Enrollment limited to: 20 students. Co-meets with ANSC 7570 .
Staff.
Team-taught survey course in reproductive physiology/endocrinology. Lectures on male reproductive function, female reproductive function, fertilization and gamete transport, pregnancy, parturition, lactation, aging, reproductive technology.
Outcome 1: Students will gain a broad working knowledge of the basics of male and female reproduction in terms of structure, function, and regulation.
Outcome 2: Students will gain an ability to apply that knowledge to the student’s own research.
