Program Description
The Department offers a Minor in Anthropology to undergraduate students in any college at Cornell. The Anthropology Minor is designed for students who want to engage with sociocultural anthropology, archaeological anthropology, or biological anthropology but cannot commit to a full academic major.
Academic Standards
Grade Requirements
All qualifying courses must be taken for a letter grade. Grades of S/U or SX/UX will not be accepted.
Each course must be completed with a grade of C- or better to count toward the minor.
Minor Declaration Information
Students can apply for the Minor at any time before the March 31st prior to their graduation.
No specific advisor is required; all departmental faculty are available to discuss students' plans for completing the Minor.
To be certified for the Minor, a student must submit a copy of their transcript and a completed Minor Course Plan form to the Director of Undergraduate Studies by the deadline.
