Health Policy (Minor)
Brooks School of Public Policy
Program Description
The Brooks School offers a minor in Health Policy for Cornell undergraduates outside of the Brooks School majors. Students in the minor apply concepts from sociology, demography, and economics to analyze policy issues within the healthcare industry, gaining a focused understanding of how social and economic factors shape health policy.
Students majoring in Policy Analysis and Management (PAM), Public Policy (PUBPOL), or Health Care Policy (HCP) are not eligible to complete the Health Policy minor. Students cannot complete both the Policy Analysis and Management and Health Policy minors.
