Policy Analysis and Management (Minor)
Brooks School of Public Policy
Program Description
The Brooks School offers a minor in Policy Analysis and Management (PAM) for Cornell undergraduates outside of the Brooks School majors. Students may tailor the minor to focus on a particular policy area or choose a broader selection of courses for a more general foundation in policy analysis.
Students majoring in Policy Analysis and Management (PAM), Public Policy (PUBPOL), or Health Care Policy (HCP) are not eligible to complete the PAM minor.
Academic Standards
Grade Requirements
Each course must be completed with a grade of B- or better to count toward the minor. If a course is offered only S-U, a grade of SX is acceptable.
Minor Declaration Information
To declare a minor within the Brooks School, students must submit the Intention to Minor in the Brooks School of Public Policy form.
Students majoring in Policy Analysis and Management (PAM), Public Policy (PUBPOL), or Health Care Policy (HCP) are not eligible to complete the PAM minor.
Students are responsible for tracking their own progress toward the minor. Brooks School advisors are not assigned for minors.
Once a student enrolls in their final required course, they must submit the Application to Graduate with a Minor in Brooks form.
