Prerequisite: ECON 1110 -ECON 1120  and calculus. Discontinued course.


Provides an introduction to statistical methods and principles of probability. Topics include analysis of data, probability concepts and distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing, regression, correlation and time series analysis. Applications from economics are used to illustrate the methods covered in the course.  NOTE: Formerly ECON 3210.
