Accelerated Arabic Course (NES 2220)

NES 2220 - Accelerated Arabic Course  (AAC) is an 8-credit course designed for students who are interested in completing Cornell’s intermediate Arabic sequence (NES 1203  and NES 2200 ) in one semester. The class meets for two hours a day, five times a week. Students finishing this course will be in a position to take advanced Arabic classes in Arabic-speaking countries as part of their study-abroad semester in the spring. Arrangements will be made with a number of study-abroad programs in Arab countries to accommodate AAC graduates so they can take classes appropriate to their level. Prerequisites: NES 1202  or one year of Arabic.
