BIOMI 3910 - Advanced Microbiology Laboratory

Prerequisites: BIOMI 2900, BIOMI 2910, or BIOMI 2911 and BIOMG 3300, BIOMG 3310, BIOMG 3330, or BIOMG 3350. Priority given to biological sciences students in microbiology program of study.

An introduction to advanced experimental methods in microbiology. Students will gain experience with a variety of cutting-edge technologies used to characterize genetic, physiological, and structural aspects of microbes. These skills will be utilized during the isolation and characterization of bacteria isolated from diverse habitats.
