BIOSM 1610 - Ecology and the Marine Environment

Summer. 3 credits. S-U or letter grade option.

This course is limited to 15 students who are either: a) matriculated students at Cornell, UNH or at any 4-year college or university; or b) incoming freshmen who will arrive at Cornell or UNH in fall 2012. A two-week course offered at Shoals Marine Laboratory (SML), on Appledore Island in the Gulf of Maine.

This course provides an introduction to ecology, covering interactions between marine organisms and the environment at scales of populations, communities, and ecosystems.
