Basic quantum mechanics at the level of Shankar: time-independent and time-dependent Schrodingers equation, matrix, operators, and bracket formalisms, orbital and spin angular momentum, one-dimensional examples, tunnelling, hydrogen atom, many-electron wavefunctions and particle statistics, time-independent perturbation theory, variational principle.
