COMM 4970 - Individual Study in Communication

Fall or spring. 1–3 credits, variable. (May be repeated as many times as desired. Maximum of 3 credits can be applied to major credits.)

Prerequisite: 3.0 GPA. Sophomore standing. Students must register using independent study form (available in 140 Roberts Hall or in the Communication Department in Kennedy Hall).

Staff.

Individual study under faculty supervision. Work should concentrate on locating, assimilating, synthesizing, and reporting existing knowledge on a selected topic. Attempts to implement this knowledge in a practical application are desirable.
