Lecture/seminar course for advanced undergraduates interested in learning about the effects of designing the built environment on the biophysical world. Course objectives are to develop sensitivities to environmental issues, construct conceptual frameworks for analysis, and demonstrate how ecological knowledge can be applied to the practice of design through researching the use of the LEED building certification process for real-world clients and stakeholders.
