HADM 3650 (formerly 3365) - Management Communication II Fall, spring. 3 credits. Letter grades only.
Prerequisites: junior or senior standing; for Hotel undergraduates, HADM 1650 (formerly 1165) and HADM 1150 (formerly 1115) . Priority given to Hotel students. Required. Limited to 24 students per lec.

Develops the knowledge and skills hospitality managers need to face an array of persuasive communication challenges. HADM 3365 builds on the principles of effective managerial communication presented in HADM 1650 (formerly 1165) as well as the concepts of organizational behavior and interpersonal skills covered in HADM 1150 (formerly 1115) . The course introduces the theory and principles of persuasion and focuses on their application in a range of management and leadership contexts.
