PLPA 4190 - Agricultural Application of Plant Health Concepts(crosslisted) (also ENTOM 4190 ) Fall. 2 credits. S-U or letter grade option.
Prerequisites: PLPA 3010 and permission of instructor. This course is taught at Geneva. Free transportation available. Eight sessions.

Addresses real-world problems in plant pathology and entomology through the application of research. Students tour fields of diverse fruit and vegetable field crops, a nursery, forests, and a golf course that have been impacted by diseases and arthropod pests. Strategies for managing diseases and pests based on research and the interface between Research and Extension are emphasized.
