The theory and practice of lighting design as a medium for artistic expression. This course explores the aesthetic and mechanical aspects of light and their application in a variety of disciplines. Emphasis is on understanding lighting’s function in an environment and manipulating light effectively. Artistic style and viewpoint are also covered. (DE)
