CEE 3920 - Sustainable Engineering in Context

Co-meets with CEE 5921 /ENMGT 5921 .

The focus of this course is to provide practical management and design tools for engineering-based group service projects that offer real-life engineering research experience. The projects to which students may apply skills taught in the course may be international or local, and may relate to any kind of engineering. Students work in teams to complete assignments related to understanding the context in which their project takes place, taking into account project objectives, and planning a project in the form of a project proposal. Lecture topics include leadership, project management, engineering design, and understanding project context.
