CHEM 2080 - General Chemistry II (PBS-AS, PHS-AS) Spring, Summer. 4 credits. Letter grades only.
Forbidden Overlap: due to an overlap in content, students will not receive credit for both CHEM 2080 and CHEM 2150 . Prerequisite: CHEM 2070 or CHEM 2090 . CHEM 1560 is accepted, but not recommended. Lab fee: $20 (non-refundable) covers cost of safety goggles, lab apron, and breakage. Only students without a prior chemistry lab course (CHEM 2070 or CHEM 2090) will be charged. Students who have advanced placement credit for CHEM 2070 or CHEM 2090 may also receive credit for Chem 2080 by demonstrating competence on the departmental examination given at Cornell before classes start in the fall. You are required to sign-up for a discussion/recitation section. This can be done by going to: chemlabs.arts.cornell.edu/discussions.cfm.
M. Hines.
