FSAD 4700 - Online Fashion Promotion and Presentation


     
Spring. 3 credits. Letter grades only.

Prerequisite: FSAD 1170 , FSAD 2640 , and FSAD 2650 . Course fee: $50; cost of materials: minimum $250. Priority given to: FSAD majors and transfer students.

Students are expected to discover their personal philosophy of fashion and to discover and adopt current presentation techniques. Students gain an understanding of presentation methods currently used in fashion design, forecasting, and editorial illustration. Skills covered include fashion illustration, image manipulation, and photographic image, layout, and presentation.

Outcome 1: Discern a personal fashion direction.

Outcome 2: Create fashion images of contemporary and global relevance.

Outcome 3: Organize your portfolio for inspection by industry professionals.

Outcome 4: Amalgamate personal fashion direction with contemporary trends.
