(MQR-AS, SMR-AS)
Fall. 4 credits. Student option grading.

Forbidden Overlap: due to an overlap in content, students will receive credit for only one course in the following group: MAE 5790 , MATH 4200, MATH 4210  if taken Fall 2017 or later.
Prerequisite: high level of performance in MATH 2210 -MATH 2220 , MATH 2230 -MATH 2240 , MATH 1920  and MATH 2940 , or permission of instructor. Students will be expected to be comfortable with proofs.

Staff.

Covers ordinary differential equations in one and higher dimensions: qualitative, analytic, and numerical methods. Emphasis is on differential equations as models and the implications of the theory for the behavior of the system being modeled and includes an introduction to bifurcations.
