CRP 5723 - European Cities (CU-ITL) Spring. 3 credits. Student option grading.
Co-meets with CRP 3723 . U.R.S. and M.R.P. students must take the course for a letter grade; S/U grading-basis available to non-majors only.
Staff.
The course will focus on European cities and the challenges they are facing in a globalized economy. Introducing the main characteristics of European cities and their role in the European integration process, the student will achieve a critical understanding of different forms of government and governance, and modalities that European cities have chosen in order to face the challenge of the contemporary city. Graduate students will conduct a more involved research paper or project.
