Outcome 1: Summarize and explain major theories and theoretical debates in the disciplines relevant to the student’s research question.

Outcome 2: Develop original research questions grounded in a review of the existing literature. - Design and complete data collection and analysis for an original piece of research.

Outcome 3: Demonstrate competence with the appropriate research methods and research design, depending on the research question.

Outcome 4: Develop professional writing and communicating skills.
