Organizations are open systems that are connected in complex ways to individuals, to each other, and to other elements of their surrounding environments. This course explores these organizational networks. We will cover a variety of theoretical perspectives that focus on organizational networks, important substantive issues that are addressed in research on this topic, as well as methods for analyzing organizational networks.
